How corrections work
Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not change the meaning. Material factual changes are accompanied by a correction or update note explaining what changed.
Updates
Developing stories may be updated as verified information becomes available. An update does not necessarily mean the earlier report was incorrect.
